Alleppey Backwaters
Day 1 – Munnar
On arrival in cochin airport or railway station our representative will be meeting you. From cochin drive to munnar hills. On the way you can enjoy the picturesque munnar hills, with lush green tea plantations and fascinating water falls. Drive from cochin to munnar takes about 4 hrs and approximately 130 kms. On arrival in munnar check in to the Hotel and in the evening enjoy a pollution free environmen by walking through the tea estates. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 – In Munnar
Today is day 2 of your trip of kerala. Today you can enjoy more destinations in munnar like Raja Malai, Tea Meuseum, Mattupetty, Eco – point etc. If you are interested you can enjoy boating in mattupetty dam at an additional cost. Overnight at the resort.
Day 3 – Thekkady
Today morning drive to thekkay. Thekkay is about 110 kms from munnar and it will take about 3.5 hrs drive through the spicy cardamom hills of idukki district. On arrival in thekkady check into the hotel / resort. In the afternoon visit the spice garden in thekkady. In spice garden you can find various tropical spices like cardamom, pepper etc. On way back to hotel after visiting spice garden and tea estates you can drop in at local market and shop for some fragrant tropical spices. Return to hotel and stay back in hotel for the day.
Day 4 – Houseboat Cruise
In this tour package thekkady is offered for a single day. In the morning travel from hill station thekkady to backwater desitination , Kumarakom. Kumarakom is about 125 kms from thekkay and it is about 4 hours drive. Kumarakom is famous for its unending backwater streches, lush paddy fields and swaying plams. On arrival in kumarakom you can check into the houseboat to explore the emerald backwaters of kerala. This backwater cruise starts from kumarakom and ends in alleppey. In the houseboat you will be provided all meals and stay overnight in Houseboat.
Day 05 – Alleppey
Have breakfast from the houseboat and check out from the houseboat in alleppey. On getting down from the houseboat you will be me by our representative and guide you to the backwater resort in alleppey. On arrival check in to the Resort. In the afternoon you can do backwater activities like boating, fishing and sunset cruise in the evening. Overnight stay hotel.
Day 6 – Departure
Today is the last day of your kerala tour package. In the morning have breakfast from the hotel and check out from the hotel for you onward journey. We will drop you in Cochin Airport or Railway station for your onward journey.
